“When will you marry?” Shilpa asked, she too sounded tired. She has been asking the same question for years.

“You know the answer mom…” He answered, “Can we talk about something else?”

He took his leave and left for his flat. Parents….

They just dont get it that nothing compares to independent, free life of a bachelor.

Their eyes met. Her face was flustered, she was frantically trying to bring her scooter to life.

“May I?” he asked gently.

She smiled, he noticed how lovely she looked with two small dips in her cheeks.

He fixed it within a few minutes.

She left after profusely thanking him, took his heart with her.

He started to visit Shilpa every evening, hoping for another glimpse.

His wish came true a week later. A scooter stopped beside him. It was her.

“You live nearby?” she asked with that same killer smile.
