Rain pouring down in crystal sheet
Ceaselessly its gushing down below
Its steady sound is the only thing
Is audible apart from wind’s bellow
Barring every path of two lover’s meet.

This beautifully written with much more said between the lines. Many times in a room full of people, many times amidst hugs and kisses, I still feel alone. Only true love can fills one’s being to where they are at a place of peace and joy. I am not there. I am told that I am loved, but yet I do not feel loved. I hold on to my memories from the past. Those memories help me make it through another day. Praise and worship to my Lord and Savior, the only one true Love I have.
hope you soon find your true love. they say as long as we yearn for human love we cant surrender completely to divine love.
The “yearn” dwindles more and more each day as I become closer to my next world at my death. It is called the reality of being seventy.
with age we do cease yearning for things we wont have, in place of that we start relishing the gifts we are holding in hand
rains and keeping lovers apart….sharmishtha, feeling like breaking the window pane…
must have been trying to indianize the poem
Dare I sugggest you delete one of the ‘downs’. One’s redundant, two’s too much!
thanks Ken, I will try to get another word if my mood, brain permits me and will replace it, it looks a bit sloppy i agree but i am the queen of phakibazi sometimes
Of course. I know I can be a pest at times.
I have seen the most absurd gushing comments about virtually illiterate poems as
the norm, so I always try to be helpful and
honest even if it loses (and it does) me followers.
it was very kind of you to point that out. i dont see anything “pest” like that, its me who is moody. i write then post them without checking them twice (its a very, very bad habit). this one was not embarassing
just a few days back another friend pointed out that i have typed personl in place of person
now that was a bit unpleasant because it ruined the entire quote in a sense.
