I love this because it is a twin – that could read both ways:
Perseus, refused divine strength, resorts to mortal skills to war against Medusa.
The twin: Medusa having lost her divinity resorts to mortal skills
It seems like a classical case of:
1. Kill him, not save him
2. Kill him not, save him!
